Take TINY STEPS. Create BIG IMPACT
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Do you have big creative dreams for 2022? Do you want to (finally) commit to your creativity?
Join us inside The Confident Creative Club on a gentle four-week course designed to encourage and motivate you to achieve your creative goals.
Learn how taking tiny steps with your writing or creativity will allow you to overcome your challenges and fears and have a big impact on your writing or creative life.
Tiny Steps. Big Impact is a 4-week course starting on Monday 10th January 2022.
The course is available to you when you become a member of The Confident Creative Club. Its aim is to build momentum, focus and confidence. And to provide encouragement and community so you know you're not alone.
Each week will include a mini-masterclass, six live writing sessions and a weekly productivity session/Q&A. All sessions other than the live writing sessions will be recorded so you can catch up if you can't attend live.
“Thank you so much for all you do Helen. The Confident Creative Club has made such a difference to me this year. The connections and encouragements via the Club have been both vital and completely joyous. I am so pleased to be a part of it.”
The Confident Creative Club and the Tiny Steps. Big Impact course is for you if:
You lack creative confidence.
You’re scared of taking steps towards your creative dreams.
You’re frustrated by your lack of creative progress.
You feel creatively lonely.
You are struggling with what to do and how to get going.
What is The Confident Creative Club?
The Confident Creative Club is a monthly membership group for unconfident creatives from all over the world to help you push forward with your creative dreams.
Every month (apart from January when the Tiny Steps. Big Impact course is running) there is a masterclass to motivate, inspire or help you work through your creative confidence issues. There is also a monthly check-in with the aim of increasing productivity where we talk about our latest projects and gain support, advice and encouragement.
Every week there are live writing sessions where we can write in silence but, thanks to the wonders of technology, in a supportive, virtual group.
There is also an active club website where we share our work, ask questions, gain advice and celebrate our wins.
““I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate The Confident Creative Club. It is such an inspiration for me. And to let you know how much I appreciate all the work you do for us. After each zoom call, I feel better about my creative journey.””
What’s the difference between the course and the membership?
To undertake the course you have to be a member of The Confident Creative Club. The course is available at no extra charge to you inside the Club. The aim is to gently supercharge your creative project during January and then, if you’d like to continue with your membership for the support, monthly masterclasses, productivity sessions and live writing sessions, you can.
Of course, once the course is finished you are free to cancel your membership to The Confident Creative Club whenever you like.
How much is it to join The Confident Creative Club?
The monthly subscription cost of the membership is $22 (USD) per month which is approximately £16.25. There is no extra charge for the course.
What happens at the end of the four week course?
You can choose to continue your monthly subscription to The Confident Creative Club. Or you are free to cancel.
““Honestly, since the Club started I’ve never felt like I’m more in a club! Less alone in writing. Feel connected. More confident even. More accountable absolutely.””
Is the Tiny Steps. Big Impact course available for those not in The Confident Creative Club?
Not at this point. I strongly believe being part of a group has a hugely beneficial effect on the unconfident creative. Even if you’re scared or reticent about joining a group I do urge you to give it a go. The group is encouraging, caring and supportive. And everyone in there struggles with confidence issues. Including myself. It’s not just you.
Who are you?
My name is Helen and I’m a self-confessed unconfident writer and procrastinator. Every day I’m pushing myself to become braver with my writing and creativity by taking tiny steps. I write books, essays, blog posts and newsletters. I’m writing a non-fiction book where I explore the subject of becoming a writer in the age of social media and I also have a couple of novels that I wrestle with on an ad-hoc basis. I’m also a big journaler and planner; both of which have made a huge difference to my confidence.
In the fifteen years I’ve been online I’ve become an editor, Instagrammer, occasional influencer working with a wide variety of brands and companies and YouTuber. Each time I tried something new I was terrified. But each time I did it I became that little bit braver. For the past three years I’ve been a professional mentor for writers, creatives and small businesses from all over the world who are looking for gentle help with their own creativity and/or being online.
““Helen is an amazing mentor for creatives like myself. It’s really inspiring whenever I get to spend time with her.””
